Shipping

Standard delivery runs 2–3 business days inside the United States, shipped insured through FedEx or UPS; high-value pieces travel by armored courier. Expedited options are available at checkout. Orders over $1,000 ship free, fully insured.

Every parcel is shipped discreetly — nothing on the outside says jewelry, diamonds, or our name. Signature is required on delivery. Check the piece when it arrives; if anything is wrong, tell us within 48 hours so a carrier claim can still be filed.

International orders ship via FedEx or DHL. Duties and taxes on international orders are the buyer's responsibility, and international orders are final sale — we cannot accept returns or exchanges from outside the U.S. at this time.

Returns — 30 days, U.S. orders

You have 30 days from the day the carrier confirms delivery. Within that window, a U.S. order can come back for a refund, store credit, or a different piece.

Holiday purchases: anything bought between November 1 and December 31 gets an extended window — 45 days from delivery, same conditions.

What has to be true for a return to clear:

• The piece is unworn and undamaged
• Everything it left with comes back with it — original packaging, intact tags, any grading report, any complimentary gift
• It passes inspection at our bench. Every return is checked against the original specification — weight, stone, metal. On a diamond, that is not a formality.

Not returnable: pieces showing wear or damage, and anything customized — engraved, embossed, or resized. A piece altered to your specification exists because you asked for it.

How to start a return

1. Email returns@mazalitonyc.com with your order number.
2. We reply with a prepaid, insured FedEx return label. A flat $50 label fee comes off your refund; exchanges ship free both ways. Use our label — a parcel sent any other way is not insured by us, and one that goes missing is not covered by us or the carrier.
3. Pack the piece in its original box inside a plain outer carton. Don't write anything on the outside that says what's in it.
4. Hand it to the carrier at a staffed counter and keep your receipt. Not a drop box.

Once the piece clears inspection — up to 5 business days — the refund, less the $50 label fee, goes back to your original payment method within 5 business days. Your bank decides when it shows on your statement, typically another 3–10 business days. The label fee is waived when the return is our error or a defect.
