The warranty

Every Mazalito piece carries a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects — a failure in how the piece was made. A bad solder. A setting that wasn't tight when it left the bench. Structural issues in the material or the craftsmanship.

It does not cover normal wear, damage from impact or chemicals, work done by another jeweler, or loss and theft. Prong wear on a ring worn daily is normal wear — on any ring, from any house — which is why we recommend an inspection once a year.

Warranty claims need proof of purchase and apply to the original purchaser.

Repairs

Email returns@mazalitonyc.com with your order details, a description of the issue, and a photo if you can manage one. Or bring the piece to the showroom — the bench that made it is the bench that fixes it.

• Warranty repairs — the work is free; you cover shipping to us.
• Everything else — we quote before any work begins. No surprises when you pick it up.

Most repairs take 2–4 weeks. Complex work — a re-set stone, a rebuilt setting — can take longer, and we'll tell you when it will.

One caution worth stating plainly: work done on a Mazalito piece by another jeweler ends the warranty on the affected part. Not because we're precious about it — because we can't stand behind a solder we didn't make.
